Island Estates was developed in phases and has no common mandatory homeowners association.  The non-profit, Island Estates Civic Association is the only association within our community that maintains our entryway and flag, lighting at the entryway and along Island Way, organizes beautification projects in common areas and who can represent this community with one voice to be heard by our City government.  This Association, while voluntary, is critical to sustaining the quality of life we all expect and deserve.  It is imperative that we have the strong membership of ALL our residents if we are to  continue to have an attractive upscale community.
